The TriZetto Group, Inc., today announced that Colorado Access has chosen TriZetto to provide end-to-end software and service solutions that will help the private, nonprofit health plan improve administrative efficiencies and service delivery for its health plan members and providers.
TriZetto’s technology-enabled solutions for Colorado Access include its QNXT™ enterprise core administration system and Medicare and Medicaid modules; provider service web capabilities; and application management, business management and consulting services. Colorado Access will begin using the TriZetto solutions during the first half of 2013.
“The evolving healthcare industry and our own plans for growth were paramount considerations in selecting TriZetto,” said Marshall R. Thomas, M.D., president and CEO/chief medical officer of Colorado Access. “TriZetto’s software and services solution set will provide an advanced, flexible platform that helps Colorado Access navigate changes and pursue strategic opportunities, such as healthcare reform, ICD-10 compliance, and the requirements of the State of Colorado and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
“It’s also important to us that TriZetto is Colorado-based and an industry leader in healthcare IT,” Thomas said. “This is a business partner with a proven, time-tested methodology that will help ensure a smooth implementation that is transparent to our valued providers and members.”

This comprehensive solution will help Colorado Access leverage its people, processes and technology most strategically. The platform will streamline the day-to-day management of information systems and administrative functions, and it will support the health plan in achieving its mission of providing access to high-quality healthcare for more underserved Coloradans.”
