NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – January 30, 2006 – The TriZetto Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: TZIX) today announced that Alan Ross is joining the company as senior vice president, human capital management. Ross will drive all human resource strategies and activities for TriZetto's business units and corporate shared services.

Ross joins TriZetto with more than 25 years of human resource experience in healthcare, consumer and media research, business information, and technology industries. Most recently, he was president of Strategic Insights, an independent strategic business consulting firm specializing in services to the managed health care and human resource outsourcing industries. For 16 years Ross had human resource roles of increasing responsibility at Dun & Bradstreet and several of its subsidiaries, finally as the global chief human resource officer. He was also senior vice president of human resources and corporate development at PlanVista Corporation, a leading independent insurance outsourcing and information technology company specializing in medical cost management.
