Fifth Healthcare Organization Selects TriZetto's Facets Extended Enterprise to Replace Amisys Software

Advanced System to Streamline and Automate Administrative Workflow for John Muir/Mt. Diablo Health Network

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – March 30, 2004 – The TriZetto Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: TZIX) announced that John Muir/Mt. Diablo Health System has signed a software license agreement for Facets Extended Enterprise™ (Facets e2), TriZetto's enterprise-wide administrative system. They are the fifth organization in the last two years to select TriZetto's Facets e2 to replace a legacy Amisys system. The John Muir/Mt. Diablo Health Network, a non-profit medical foundation, will use Facets e2 to process transactions for its more than 70,000 members in the San Francisco Bay Area.

"With TriZetto, I know I'm going to get quality upgrades and enhancements,” said Katrina Gesh-Wilson, chief operating officer for the Health Network. "As a technology partner, TriZetto is dedicated to its products and to healthcare."

John Muir/Mt. Diablo's decision is part of an overall strategy to install advanced technology that will help streamline and automate the medical group's administrative workflow. The highly automated system will boost the Health Network's productivity by providing new functionality for key areas such as claims processing, customer service, referrals and utilization management. Using Facets e2, the Health Network will also be able to automate the batch referral process, which previously relied on fax machines and time-consuming manual entry.

"Our staff is very happy about moving to the new system,” said Gesh-Wilson. "Before Facets e2, our software didn't have a customer service module. Now, we'll be able to track customer calls in an intuitive and logical manner that resolves inquiries quickly and accurately. Plus, when we conduct our annual provider and member satisfaction survey, we can tap the new system in advance, so we are better prepared to address areas of success as well as areas for improvement."

"The automated tools in Facets e2 can help even financially and operationally sound organizations like the John Muir/Mt. Diablo Health Network leap forward in their productivity," said Tony Bellomo, president of TriZetto's software unit. "We research and develop our products so they provide the full scope of functionality our customers need, when they need it. TriZetto remains a leader in its field because of its commitment to software that will serve healthcare organizations and their complex business requirements, both today and well into the future."
