TriZetto Names David S. Shouse Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – February 3, 2003 – The TriZetto® Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:TZIX) today named Davis S. Shouse senior vice president and chief information officer of its Business Solutions unit, which handles operations of the company's software hosting and other outsourcing businesses. Shouse will oversee coordination of TriZetto's data centers and delivery of software hosting and management services. He will also be responsible for internal IT support across the company.

Shouse has nearly 30 years of experience in the IT field, having worked in both start-up and Fortune 500 companies serving the manufacturing, financial services and telecommunications industries. Most recently, Shouse served as senior vice president of IT Infrastructure for ING Financial Services, a $65 billion global financial services company. At ING, he spearheaded initiatives that stabilized and improved the company's service levels and capabilities. Prior to joining ING, Shouse was executive director of Information Services for Cummins, Inc., a $6 billion Fortune 200 company in Columbus, Ind., where he directed the company's global IT infrastructure.
