During the recent TriZetto Benefits Administration Client Conference, customer representatives attended a number of educational sessions highlighting QicLink e2's extensive CDH-oriented component pieces. Much of this functionality can be implemented separately or as part of a comprehensive consumer retail strategy. All of these capabilities work in conjunction with the QicLink Extended Enterprise core administration system:

  • Support for Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) and Health Spending Accounts (HSAs) with integration to MBI Financial Services for Debit Card utilization via TriZetto's Consumer-Directed Healthcare module.
  • Online enrollment and access via HealthWeb StatusLink, as well as integration with RxEOB for prescription drug and cost comparison, based on plan benefits in effect.
  • Integration of CDH administration with FSA Account Management to define order of account processing when an HSA co-exists with an HRA and/or an FSA.
  • Support for FSA accounts with integration to MBI Financial Services for Debit Card utilization via TriZetto's Flexible Spending module.

Rapid Market Entry, Minimized Risk
While some administrators are ready to begin offering these additional services to their employer groups now, others are not yet ready to make an investment due to system limitations and/or timing requirements for system upgrades and implementations. To enable these latter businesses to compete, TriZetto has unveiled its new CDH QicStart program.

Available to users of non-TriZetto administrative systems, as well as existing clients, the CDH QicStart program provides rapid entry into the consumer-directed market with an effective, integrated approach, while minimizing the risk involved.

The program enables users to choose from the following services:

  • Set-up of FSA/HRA/HSA plans
  • Pre-integration with a preferred debit card vendor and financial institution
  • Payment of claims against all financial accounts
  • Maintenance of benefits and fund account balances
  • Maintenance of account eligibility
  • Web tools for self-service claim and fund balance look-up
  • Processing of medical claims on QicLink system, if required.

The CDH QicStart program combines TriZetto's advanced QicLink and CDH technology with the proven performance of the Company's business process outsourcing services. Organizations can choose to use to utilize this service as either a short- or long-term solution. When the client is ready, TriZetto provides all the information and support needed to bring the CDH plans in-house.
