Jeff Margolis, Chairman & CEO of TriZetto and Kathleen Earley, the Company's President & Chief Operating Officer opened TriZetto's Benefits Administration Client Conference on Monday morning, July 11th, speaking at the General Session.

Mr. Margolis, a noted healthcare visionary, spoke to the expanding market needs being driven by growing consumerism. He advised attendees that high deductible health plans and tax-advantaged funds such as FSAs, HSAs and HRAs are just the tip of the iceberg. The total solution will require retail-like information, access and support tools to enable consumers to manage their health, benefits and funds.

TriZetto has maintained an aggressive development strategy to provide benefits administrators with the tools to support these retail needs as they evolve, even as the company continues to move forward with advancement of its QicLink Extended Enterprise product utilizing Microsoft® .NET technology. QicLink Extended Enterprise is positioned at the core of TriZetto's consumer platform - to enable flexible benefit and contract design, real time liability determination and accurate adjudication.

Margolis also introduced the Company's release of its new CDH QicStart program - which offers CDH benefits administration and fund management on an outsourced basis to enable organizations to accelerate their speed to market. Available to outside organizations as well as existing clients, this service can be particularly valuable to those organizations that want to test the waters for CDH marketability with minimal upfront cost and risk.

Margolis noted that, while CDH is an important trend, it is not the only concern for Benefits Administrators - finding ways to increase automation is a key focus for TPA and benefits plan executives, as this can directly impact bottom line costs.

Following the TriZetto Executive Summit in March of this year, a number of client executives formed an Automation Task Force in conjunction with TriZetto Product Management. The goal of the Task Force is to help identify areas where the current high levels of automation within the QicLink system can be increased even further. According to Margolis, many of the recommendations of this team are being incorporated into the next QicLink Extended Enterprise release.

Kathleen Earley, speaking to the Company's benefits administration clients for the first time, delivered a well-received message highlighting TriZetto's focus on customer satisfaction. Ms. Early noted that customer satisfaction is her number one priority and documented satisfaction levels are directly tied to executive and individual compensation plans.

Toward this end, the company has adopted a strategy of multi-lateral decisions and shared goals that create a team approach to best serve its clients. An independent firm will be conducting customer satisfaction surveys with TriZetto clients during the month of September.
