Chicago, IL - More than 240 representatives from 70 client companies and 24 exhibitor organizations met in Chicago this July as TriZetto held its annual Benefits Administration Client Conference addressing the latest industry trends and regulatory considerations, and highlighting the company's growing line of products and services designed to help TPAs and self-administered organizations keep pace with these changes.
BE READY! was the conference theme as attendees made their selections from 36 different workshop sessions available on topics ranging from "Payer Networks & the Competition" to "Increasing Electronic Transactions" and "Disaster Recovery & HIPAA Compliance".
An entire conference track was devoted to "Supporting Consumer-Oriented Plans". It was in these sessions that clients could learn more about high deductible health plans and how to apply different components such as HSAs, online enrollment and debit card utilization to accommodate the emerging consumer retail wave.
Conference participants also had plenty of opportunities to network with other clients, their TriZetto support team members and representatives from the many exhibiting organizations. Pat Lambert, President of ELMCO, LLC, had this to say about her conference experience, "I learned a lot. I always do. I come back fired up with so much information from TriZetto and my fellow clients. We're looking at relational database right now. This is my third TriZetto client conference and I'm just sorry I didn't start coming to these events sooner."
Vendors were kept busy as attendees filled the Exhibit Hall seeking more information on the various offerings available to complement their QicLink applications. Christina East, an exhibitor from The Rizza Group, commented, "This is the first conference in years that we actually ran out of literature to hand out. It was a great conference."
It was standing room only in the Exhibit Hall at the TriZetto Solutions Center, where clients lined up to view demonstrations of the latest QicLink Extended Enterprise release and the new Web-based Customer Service and Plan Building applications. TriZetto's Consumer-Directed Healthcare module, with its new HSA capabilities and integration with HealthWeb® StatusLinkTM for online enrollment and debit card support also drew considerable interest. Client attendees were enthusiastic about these and the many other new products, services and enhancements on display at the conference.
