The industry's most widely used software for employee benefits administration, QicLink Extended Enterprise evolves to the next level of consumerism and automation, beginning with the mid-2005 release of additional functionality to further enhance its proven consumer-directed solutions in support of this rapidly growing market trend.
Additional time and cost-saving applications for release late in the year include an all-new Windows-based plan building application and a Windows-based adjustment processing tool that promises to streamline workflows for even more processing automation. The system will also include Phase I of Relational Database capabilities to be available late 2005.
Consumer-Directed – the Next Wave
Building upon its deeply integrated functionality to automate the processing of Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), TriZetto's Consumer-Directed Health Plan module will now support Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Debit/Credit Card application, and consumer access to the RxEOB decision-support tool through TriZetto's StatusLink application. RxEOB delivers online access to information on prescription drug alternatives and, because of its integration with QicLink e2, can provide cost comparisons specific to the enrollee's health plan coverage.
All of this consumer-oriented functionality is integrated with the QicLink e2 claims administration system and is supported by HealthWeb® StatusLinkTM technology that makes critical plan and account information available to the consumer in an online format.
Streamlined Workflows
The new Exception Processing application to be released late 2005 provides a unique and tremendously efficient methodology for handling some of your most troublesome areas:
- Streamlined adjustment & exception processes
- Consolidated screens & fewer keystrokes for increased productivity & accuracy
- Dramatic efficiencies in voucher processing and overpayment tracking
Plan building is enhanced with streamlined, GUI-based plan building processes, a more intuitive methodology design, and features that enable increased productivity.
New Relational Database Capability
One of the most exciting components to be released in late 2005 is Phase I of a relational database capability (RDBMS). This will provide standard industry protocols for communication with enhanced data integrity, more current data field technology and data storage capabilities.
