COURSE: HIPAA Awareness for the General Workforce
This online training course provides an introduction to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). It is an Internet-based compliance-training program that can be accessed anyplace, anytime, and is available 24/7. Employees can access a Web site for a more efficient, flexible, and fast way to learn the basics about the HIPAA regulations. Comprehensive HIPAA information regarding general HIPAA topics and Privacy and Security topics are covered in an interactive format.
Completing this course fulfills the basic prerequisite for additional TriZetto courses.
Upon completion of the course, the student receives a confirmation e-mail. Management reports are available to track student attendance, quiz results, and course completion.

Prerequisites
We recommend that students have a general understanding of the organizational setup of their departments and the responsibilities of the personnel in each department. Additionally, students should have a basic understanding of Internet Explorer and using the Internet.
Pricing
HIPAA Awareness Online training can be purchased in quarterly increments (90 days) or annually (365 days) which includes a 50% discount. The fee is based upon the total number of employees to be trained. Once purchased, it is available to that number of employees of the purchasing client for an unlimited time, including weekends and evenings, during the quarter or annual period. A registration URL is sent to a contact selected by the client. This contact is responsible for providing the URL to all those employees who should register for the course. Each student self registers for the course using the URL and will be provided a password to access the training upon registration. Individual licenses can be purchased for $95 per person.
