Joseph Manheim
President, Benefits Administration
Joseph Manheim, a 25-year veteran of the healthcare payer and services industries, oversees TriZetto's third-party Benefits Administration business unit. He leads the unit's sales and client delivery teams and is responsible for all operations of TriZetto's Benefits Administration business. Previously, Manheim was senior vice president of TriZetto's Benefits Administration and CareAdvance business units. Before joining TriZetto, he was president of Interplan Health Group, a national managed-care PPO and cost-containment company. He also served as president of JBC Healthcare Partners and was senior vice president and chief operating officer of CCN Managed Care. Manheim has held leadership positions at Unilab Corporation, Preferred Health Network, Admar Corporation and Humana Corporation. He holds an associate's degree in respiratory therapy from Ventura Community College, and teaching credentials from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Manheim completed his business administration coursework at the University of Redlands, Whitehead Center. He has served as clinical instructor for the Allied Health Programs at Ventura College.
