Dr. Jeff Rideout, a 15-year veteran of the healthcare industry, leads TriZetto's Systematic Health Management strategy (SHM), the decision framework for clinically focused products and services that increase member and consumer healthcare quality and value. Driven by sophisticated clinical analytics, a uniform and personalized health itinerary, with strong integration to core systems for benefits and payment, SHM ensures that benefits, provider payments and care intervention programs are optimized and integrated in support of member health and wellness. Rideout supplies a unique blend of experience to this important position. As former chief medical officer for Blue Shield of California and Cisco Systems, and as the head of Quality Management for Blue Cross of California/WellPoint and UCSF Stanford Healthcare, Rideout brings broad perspective on how to systematically optimize the coordination of care for consumers in coordination with their healthcare providers and payers. Rideout holds an M.D. from the Harvard Medical School, an M.A. in philosophy, politics and economics from Oxford University, a B.S. in biology from Stanford University, and is a former Rhodes Scholar. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
